Hey Bot Admins, get ready to level up with the 'Force Join' feature! It's not just about boosting your bot; it's about creating a vibrant space in your Telegram community. While users have always had the option to join free channels through the bot, here's the twist – now you can make it a prerequisite before they access your bot's premium features. Users eager to explore your premium services make a pit stop in the free channel first. It's an extra step, yes, but think of it as a secret weapon for admins. Growing your free channel is a golden ticket to a thriving community and impactful marketing – promotions, product drops, you name it; the possibilities are endless. Let's dive into how this savvy 'Force Join' move can take your Telegram journey to the next level!
Before diving into the 'Force Join' magic, make sure you have a free chat set up in your bot. If you haven't done that yet, no worries! Check out our step-by-step guide on adding a free chat to your Telegram bot.
Head over to /settings, navigate to Group Management, and then click on Force Join.
In this section, you'll find a list of all the free chats you've added to your bot, if any. Simply click on the chat you want users to join. If everything is set up correctly, you'll see a green checkmark next to it.
Congratulations! You've successfully set up the 'Force Join' feature for your Telegram bot. From now on, anyone attempting to start your bot will be prompted to join your free chat before gaining access to its functionality. Keep in mind that existing paying members and admins won't be affected.
