When you purchase a subscription with TGmembership, you have the option to choose between two billing options - Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly. Both options come with the same set of features, with the only difference being the monthly fee. You can choose the billing option that suits your project the best. This guide will help you understand how the billing works based on the option you have chosen.
With the Pay As You Go plan, your billing is calculated based on the monthly revenue you earn through TGmembership. This option is ideal for small businesses and startups. If, for instance, your monthly revenue is €20, your bill would only be €1.40. And if you don't have any revenue for a particular month, you won't be charged anything.
We won't ask you to make any upfront payment. Instead, we send you a bill at the beginning of the following month for the services you used during the previous one. Please note that we only issue bills if the amount due is equal to or greater than €5. If your bill is below this amount, we'll carry it over to the next billing period.
TGmembership offers support for various currencies that you can use in your plans for your clients. However, please note that our bot only accepts payments in Euro. For billing purposes, the revenue earned will be calculated in Euro using the daily exchange rates set by the European Central Bank. For payments made using cryptocurrencies, we use Crypto (No KYC)'s exchange rates.
At the beginning of each month, TGmembership will send you a usage report for your bot. You can view a sample usage report below. If you'd like to download the report, follow this link.
The usage report for your Telegram subscription bot contains important information that will help you understand your revenue and bill. Here's a quick rundown of what you'll find in the report:
Project ID: A unique number that identifies your bot.
Billing Period: The period for which revenue is calculated.
Report Date: The date the report was generated.
Due Date: The date by which you need to pay to keep your bot operational.
Make sure to pay before the due date to avoid any interruption in service. The "Currency" section shows the currency and exchange rate used for the conversion, while the "Revenue" section shows your profit from plans using this currency, as well as its equivalent in EUR. The "Share" section indicates TGmembership's 7% cut of your revenue, and the "Total" section shows the final amount due.
Please note that payment for your TGmembership subscription is due by the date indicated on the usage report, which is typically 5 days after the report is generated. If payment is not received by this due date, your bot may be temporarily suspended until payment is made. It is important to ensure timely payment to avoid any disruption to your service.
To provide maximum convenience, the bot will attach a payment button to the usage report it sends, allowing you to quickly and easily pay the amount due. The payment button is shown in the photo below.
With the "Pay Monthly" plan, you pay a fixed monthly fee, regardless of how much revenue your bot generates. This plan is ideal for medium and large projects that consistently generate €600 or more in monthly revenue.
You don't have to make an upfront payment for the Pay Monthly plan. Your first bill will be issued at the beginning of the next month and will be prorated based on the number of days your bot was active during the previous month. For instance, if your bot was created on April 15th, your first bill will be €20 (as your bot was active for half of the month, you'll be asked to pay half of the monthly fee).
To emphasize, we want to make it clear that we do not deduct any amount from your bot's revenue without your explicit consent. You will be asked to pay the amount voluntarily. Regardless of which plan you choose, at the beginning of each month, you will receive a report for the past month and an invitation to pay the corresponding amount. The system will keep your bot active for 5 days from sending the bill, after which it will suspend it if no payment is received.
You are able to change your plan at any time, provided that there is no outstanding balance due. If you have an outstanding balance, the bot will prompt you to pay it first before allowing you to change your plan and start a new billing period.
After you receive the bill for your subscription, it must be paid within 5 days to avoid your bot being suspended. It's important to pay the bill on time to ensure uninterrupted access to your bot's services.
