In addition to being a marketing tool, a free channel or group fosters a sense of community around your brand. It allows you to engage with a wider audience, build trust, and showcase your expertise. This open space can serve as a hub for discussions, announcements, and sneak peeks, creating a dynamic environment that entices users to explore the exclusive content available in your premium private chats.
First things first, you need to add a channel or group to your bot. Afterward, open the /settings menu of your bot, select 'Group Settings', and then select 'Free Chats'.
In the 'Free Chats' section, you'll find a list of all your existing chats. Click on the one you want to switch from paid to free.
Note that once a chat is marked as free, everyone can join without payment.
It's essential to remember that if you switch a channel from paid to free and then back to paid, users who entered while the chat was free will remain. The bot only removes those who join after the status change.
Those chats marked with a 🆓 emoji next to their name are accessible without requiring an active membership. Any chat without this emoji requires users to hold an active membership to access its content.
Another valuable feature to enhance user interaction is the 'Attach subscription buttons' option. Enabling this functionality empowers your Telegram bot to edit each message within your free channel and append a subscription button directly beneath. This approach enables all free channel readers to access your bot's subscription menu with just a single click. Simplifying the subscription process not only fosters user engagement but also has the potential to significantly boost sales.
