Are you encountering errors from your bot when generating invite links for your users? Don't worry, there are a couple of reasons why this could be happening and we're here to help you troubleshoot.
Insufficient chat permissions. Check if your bot has the necessary permissions in the chat. Additionally, make sure you're looking at the right chat, especially if you have multiple chats with the same name.
Another reason for this could be if you've created a group chat that was later upgraded to a supergroup. In this case, TGmembership will add the new group to its database, but the old one may still exist in the database as well. This can cause confusion for users, who may see two groups with the same name, even though one no longer exists.
If users try to join the non-existing group, you may receive an error message. However, this is usually a one-time error, as the bot will detect the issue and automatically correct it.
